$1,000,000.00: Confidential

Plaintiff was a passenger in her best friend's vehicle. While driving in an industrial area, a semi-truck was parked alongside the roadway in a "no parking" area. While the facts and timing of when the illegal parking occurred remained in dispute, Plaintiff's friend struck this semi-truck causing plaintiff to be projected from the vehicle, through the windshield, and landing on the pavement. Plaintiff sustained catastrophic and life-threatening injuries. Shortly after litigation started, the semi-truck company agreed to tender its limits so Plaintiff can proceed with the care she desperately needs.
